Privacy & terms

How Archimedes handles your data, and the terms you agree to when you use it.

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 29, 2026

Archimedes is a workspace for your documents: you sign in with Google, connect the accounts you choose, and let it read, write, and organize your work. This policy explains what we collect, what stays yours, and how the machine is built.

What we store

  • Your account identity from Google sign-in: name, email, and a user id.
  • The documents and files you open, upload, or create with Archimedes.
  • Credentials for the connections you choose to add (such as your school portal login or Google account). These are stored encrypted server-side, used only to run your requests, and are never displayed, shared, or sold.
  • Chat history and task/calendar data tied to your account, so your workspace persists between visits.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. We don't train public models on your documents or your chats.

Your stored credentials are sealed per user: no other Archimedes user can read, touch, or run tools against your accounts. Archimedes only acts on your connected accounts when you ask it to in a chat.

Who processes your data

Archimedes runs on third-party infrastructure: Google (authentication, your Drive and Docs), an AI model provider for generating responses, and standard hosting (database, web). Each processes your data only to deliver the feature you used.

Signed-in users' task and memory data live in a per-user Postgres store; deleted tasks are removed at your request.

Deleting your data

Disconnecting a connection from Settings erases its stored credentials and sessions immediately. Signing out removes your local session. Deleting your account or requesting a full wipe removes your workspace data. Write to us and we'll handle it — a real person reads it.

Terms of Service

Last updated September 29, 2026

Using Archimedes

By signing in you agree to these terms. Archimedes is provided as-is while it's in beta: features change, things break, and access can be limited or paused at any time. There's no fee during beta.

Your accounts and your content

You keep ownership of everything you make with Archimedes. You're responsible for the connected accounts you add and for the actions Archimedes takes in them when you ask.

Don't use Archimedes to break the law, access accounts that aren't yours, or interfere with other users of the service.

Actions on your connected accounts

Archimedes reads and moves files on your behalf — it can create, edit, or share documents in the accounts you connect. You'll see exactly what it did in the chat transcript. Double-check what you send it to do: you authorize the actions Archimedes performs on your accounts.

Downtime and mistakes

The service may be unavailable, slow, or wrong — especially in beta. Don't rely on Archimedes as the only copy of anything irreplaceable, or as your only record of a deadline.

Archimedes isn't liable for lost data, missed work, or any damages arising from using the service, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the product does. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Archimedes after a change means you accept it.
